Gorgonia
Gorgonia emerges from coral memory — a branching, skeletal form that echoes the layered evolution of underwater life. Its mineral lattice seems grown rather than made, balancing softness and rigidity like a reef hardened by time.
The structure mimics the modular spread of gorgonian coral: fractal bifurcations shaped by fluid forces and structural efficiency. A vertical spine of turned wood cuts through its additive limbs, anchoring the piece in equilibrium between growth and compression.
Printed in silica-bound composite and post-tensioned with timber, Gorgonia is a hybrid organism — part furniture, part reef, entirely alive in form.
