BEDSIDE TABLE
Diapria
Diapria rises like a tectonic signal — a table formed by the upward force of buried systems. Its monolithic base fractures with compressed asymmetry, as though shaped from beneath by molten mass or ancient crustal disturbance.
Inspired by geological diapirs — structures where less dense rock pierces through denser strata — the form expresses vertical emergence under strain. Atop this textured eruption sits a calm surface: planar, refined, deliberately quiet.
Crafted from granular composite and structurally bound to a mineral logic, Diapria is both furniture and geological metaphor — a stratigraphic compression rendered into design. It doesn't sit in space. It presses through it.
