When the Moon Rises
When the Moon Rises is an experimental moving image work inspired by the projection theory in psychology, explores memory and the role of emotional projection in shaping subjective consciousness. Created with Cameraless Filmmaking techniques and abstract photography. Set against the backdrop of an inevitable separation, a fragmented conversation between two lovers fades in and out of audibility, dropping hints of their story. Rather than following a linear narrative, the film offers an interactive perceptual encounter—inviting the viewer to become the Rorschach test subject, projecting personal memory and emotions onto the dreamlike abstract imagery and sensory cues, constructing their own narrative in response to what is seen—and unseen.
