I have been monitoring Lucy for the past thirty-four years. In a previous life, I was a neurosurgeon. Now, my face is wrinkled, and my hair has turned grey. Lucy, however, has remained unchanged. Sometimes I suspect the video they transmit to me isn't live, that it is the same recording I've been watching for eight hours every day. But the rain is never the same, it is always changing.
